2. What data we process and why

a) Quote requests and contacts

When you message Giorgio on WhatsApp, call him or send an email, he processes the data you provide: name, phone number or email, dates, pick-up and drop-off addresses, number of passengers, luggage, flight number and any notes.

The quote form does not send or store any data on this website: it builds a message in your browser and opens WhatsApp, where you decide whether to send it. From then on the message is handled by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own privacy policy (whatsapp.com/legal).

Purpose: to answer your request, prepare the quote, organise and perform the service. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

b) Invoicing and legal obligations

If the service is confirmed, the data needed for the invoice is processed to comply with tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

c) Browsing the website

The server hosting the website (Aruba S.p.A.) automatically logs some technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser. This is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not used to identify you.

d) Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4), only with your consent

If you click “Accept” in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to learn, in aggregate form, how many people visit the site, which channels they come from (for example Instagram, Facebook or Google) and which pages and contact buttons they use: WhatsApp, phone, email, quote form. The content of your messages, names and addresses is never sent with these measurements.

Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Google Signals and ad personalisation are turned off: data is not used for advertising. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

e) Links to external services

The site links to Instagram and Google Maps (reviews). These are plain links: no content from these services is embedded in the pages. If you open them, Meta's and Google's policies apply.

4. Who can see the data

Data is processed by Giorgio Graioni and, only as strictly necessary, by providers acting as processors: hosting (Aruba S.p.A.), the accountant for invoicing and Google Ireland Limited for statistics. We never sell or hand over data to third parties for marketing. Where the service requires it (for example a transfer organised with a travel agency), data is shared only with those involved in the trip.

5. Your rights

At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format and withdraw consent, without affecting processing already carried out (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Just write to info@autonoleggiogiorgio.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.

6. Required data

To receive a quote we need at least date, pick-up and destination: without them we cannot answer your request. Consent to statistics is optional and does not change how the site works.
